Gene Tangren and Chris Nord were in Paris during the Summer of 1985 with Technique Niquée. Gene and Chris performed as street musicians as Mr. Syd Blues Band. They also did some work back in the States as well. The "Live in Paris 1985" CD was recorded in our Paris kitchen on a shitty little boombox. The band was named after the worlds coolest cat Mr. Syd.
